We are currently seeking a press operator for our Brunswick, OH facility.

Shift Hours

Days: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, 5am-5:15pm

Nights: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and every other Thursday, 5pm-5:15am.

The Press Operator operates assigned Flexographic printing equipment to create a label product which meets the customer’s specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate press and run print jobs.
• Set up press to run print job.
• Read, understand and follow production work orders.
• Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.
• Produce label product which meets the quality standards.
• Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment.
• Maintain equipment and identify raw materials and tooling.
• Accurately report production numbers daily.
• Conduct quality checks of finished product.
• Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.
• Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.

REQUIRMENTS:

• Machining or related work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for shift.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to learn and train.
• Attention to detail.
• Good basic math and measurement skills.
