We are seeking a Systems Administrator to help ensure stable, secure, and reliable IT operations across the organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, supporting end users, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support business and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows server and Linux environments, virtualization platforms, and enterprise infrastructure systems.
- Support network and wireless infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity across facilities.
- Manage endpoint systems, device deployment, patching, security updates, and compliance initiatives.
- Provide operational support for manufacturing and production technology systems.
- Administer identity and access management solutions, including user provisioning and access controls.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain infrastructure monitoring tools and proactively address system alerts.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders on infrastructure projects and technology deployments.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to users across multiple locations.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and operational processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support.
- Experience administering Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
- Experience supporting endpoint management and security platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud technologies.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and patch management tools.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, or Cisco certifications.
