Summary:

Work with various departments such as engineering, procurement, and suppliers to solve quality issues and implement engineering/launch changes. Responsible for audits, inspections, and developing new strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data, generate reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and develop solutions for quality issues.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality.
  • Train manufacturing personnel on quality standards.
  • Implement procedures to evaluate compliance with customer requirements.
  • Develop measurement systems for supplier performance.
  • Address quality concerns with stakeholders.
  • Utilize tools like Six Sigma for defect reduction.
  • Administer Supplier PPAP and perform audits.
  • Inspect manufacturing processes and materials for compliance.
  • Maintain KPI goals and follow quality policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and adhere to company practices.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Technical skills in analysis, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Familiarity with quality standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, Squat, bend at the knees and waist, and walk.
  • Required to use hands to type, and handle objects and paperwork.
  • Required to reach and hold on to items at chest level or reach above the shoulder.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 80 lbs. pounds on a regular basis.
  • Required to use close vision, peripheral vision, focus, and see colors as required to read equipment and material labels, color-coded inventory, computer terminal screens, etc.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel domestically in the US and/or internationally if needed.

The employee generally works in indoor office and warehouse environments.
