Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Comply with project plans and industry standards.
- Ensure software is updated with the latest features.
- Implement new features for Connected Car Services.
- Support debugging and resolution of user-reported issues.
- Support testing events, both remotely and in person.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C , Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience with software version control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN).
- Ability to work collaboratively with global R&D centers, including MTCK (South Korea), MTCI (India), MTCE (Europe), and others.
- Ability to work with external partners such as HERE, BlueWallet (Hyundai Card), Hyundai AutoEver America, etc.
- Be a team player.
- Have great attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation.)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 years of experience in software development.
- Ability to work in an office or lab environment involving computers, test benches, cables, and electronic equipment.
- Ability to sit, stand, or move between workstations for extended periods.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed (20–25% travel to customer sites or HQ in South Korea).
- A standard 8 hour work day with flexible start times between 7:00am – 9:00am
- Additional hours may be required based on project deadlines, testing schedules, or departmental needs.
- Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
- Occasional international travel
- Frequent local travel
