What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Commercial Construction & Facilities Technician position at Hytek Service?
Hytek Services
Build More Than Repairs. Build Your Career.
Hytek Services is growing, and we're looking for experienced, self-motivated technicians who enjoy variety and want to work on projects that matter.
One day you might be repairing storefront doors for a national retailer. The next, you're installing commercial kitchen equipment in a new school, grinding concrete trip hazards for a telecommunications customer, or helping build out a convenience store remodel.
If you're the type of person who enjoys solving problems with your hands, takes pride in quality work, and doesn't want to do the same thing every day, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Do
No two days are alike. Typical work includes:
- Commercial building maintenance
- Door, frame, and hardware repairs
- Carpentry and finish work
- Drywall, painting, and tenant improvements
- Plumbing and drain installations
- Equipment installation and assembly
- Moving and positioning heavy commercial equipment
- Stacking commercial ovens and kitchen equipment
- Stainless steel table and shelving installation
- Concrete grinding and trip hazard repairs
- Exterior building repairs
- General construction and remodel support
- Jobsite cleanup and project closeout
You'll work at restaurants, grocery stores, schools, healthcare facilities, convenience stores, retail locations, and commercial buildings throughout the Pacific Northwest.
