Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards
- Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop
- Write and optimize DAX measures and calculated columns
- Connect to and transform data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud sources, etc.)
- Implement Power Query (M) for data cleansing and transformation
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and report scalability
- Manage Power BI Service (workspaces, datasets, gateways, refresh schedules, row-level security)
- Document reports, datasets, and data models
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and enhancements
- Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M)
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, normalization)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data visualization best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and stakeholder collaboration experience
- Experience with Azure (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Dataflows)
- Knowledge of SSAS / Tabular models
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Familiarity with version control and deployment pipelines
- Background in data warehousing or ETL processes
