Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Playwright QA Tester with strong expertise in end-to-end automation testing using Playwright. The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of overall QA experience, including solid background in automation, test strategy, and hands-on scripting. Experience in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web and POS applications.
- Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation testing.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, analyze logs, and drive root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and integrate tests into automation frameworks.
- Prepare detailed test reports and metrics to support release decisions.
- Ensure high-quality delivery in a fast-paced, onsite collaborative environment.
- 10 years of overall QA/testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks, API testing, and test design principles.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- POS testing experience is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working onsite 4 days/week in Columbus, OH.
- Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Performance testing or security testing exposure.
