Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Tasks:
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess potential risks and opportunities.

- Ensure comprehensive understanding and accurate interpretation of project requirements.
- Estimate Preparation
Tasks:
- Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates using specialized software.
- Include all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs in the estimates.
Accountability:
- Deliver reliable and competitive estimates that align with project specifications and client expectations.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination
Tasks:
- Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Accountability:
- Secure the best possible pricing and quality of materials and services for projects.
- Risk Management
Tasks:
- Identify potential risks associated with project estimates.
- Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Accountability:
- Minimize financial risks and ensure project profitability.
- Collaboration with Project Teams
Tasks:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine project estimates.
- Provide technical support and advice on electrical cost matters.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical estimating for construction projects.
- Proficiency in electrical estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency with Accubid Classic, Live Count On screen take-off and other Trimble software products
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
