We are looking for a talented Sr. Java / SailPoint Developer plays a crucial role in optimizing the company's identity and access management (IAM) systems, focused on integrating / onboarding applications with SailPoint
This is a hybrid onsite role in Reston, VA (only once per week). We look for folks that live within 60 miles of Reston or those willing to relocate immediately upon hire.
Job Duties:
- Utilize strong hands-on development skills to take charge of critical systems related to optimizing and securing the company's IAM solutions.
- Develop SailPoint integrations, both custom and out of the box, to onboard applications, using Java, Python, Beanshell, etc.
- Designing and implement IAM solutions: SSO, MFA, IGA, PAM, integrations with various Identity Providers (IdPs), and IAM security protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC
- Participate in strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and assess and implement new technologies.
- Create and maintain operational documentation with collaboration tools like Confluence Wiki for systems configurations, operational procedures, and best practices.
- May oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) deployments, ensuring systems are secure and compliant with frameworks like NIST and CIS.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead technical teams, and clearly communicate IAM strategies across the organization.
Ideal Background:
- 7 years in IT with hands-on experience in Java development with SailPoint and other IAM technologies.
- Proven HANDS ON development expertise in application (SaaS, Cloud, on-prem, etc.) onboarding / configuration with SailPoint using Java, Python, etc.
- Strong experience in core Java or full-stack development.
- Ability to develop integrations with IdPs using protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms like SSO, MFA, PAM, across on-prem, distributed, and SaaS environments.
- Experienced with SaaS solutions and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) preferred.
- Excellent customer facing skills, able to communicate with others at all levels in the organization.
- Local candidates preferred, will consider those who are willing to relocate immediately upon hire.
