We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels throughout the store.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while promoting a positive shopping experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
- Willingness to learn is essential.
