Administrative and Marketing Assistant

Hyperactive Gaming LLC is seeking an Administrative and Marketing Assistant with prior administrative experience to support our growing video gaming company. This is a hybrid role that provides support across Office Administration, Marketing, and Regulatory Compliance functions. Being highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative is key to success in this position.In this role, you will:Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leaders across multiple departments, including calendar management, scheduling, route coordination, and internal communicationsAssist in marketing, branding, and promotional initiatives, including campaigns, digital media coordination, content support, and basic design projectsCollaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to build and maintain strong working relationshipsProactively identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, organization, and cross-departmental coordinationPrepare documentation for background checks and submit and track Illinois Gaming Board applications for Terminal Handlers, Account Executives, and other regulated rolesSupport on-site office operations, including phone coverage, new-hire onboarding coordination, office equipment support, and office supply inventory managementManage timekeeping and payroll data for employees, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submissionTrack licenses and work with clients, vendors, and the State of Illinois to ensure ongoing regulatory complianceMaintain strict confidentiality, enforce internal controls, and comply with company policies and regulatory requirementsPerform additional duties as assigned by senior managementWhat you’ll need:2–5 years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in operations, administration, marketing, or regulated environmentsProven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced settingHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfort learning new software, systems, and digital toolsStrong command of English grammar with the ability to interpret data, reports, charts, and numerical informationEffective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong follow-through with the ability to take direction, document action items, and work independentlyReliable team player who can work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlinesSelf-starter mindset, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow within the organizationCompensation:The salary range for this role is $50,000 – $60,000 USD, based on experience and qualificationsLocation:This role is based in Rolling Meadows, ILBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In personCompany DescriptionHyper Microsystems Inc OverviewToday, Hyper Microsystems is a privately owned company specializing in asset recovery, remarketing, and distribution of new and refurbished consumer electronics and IT Equipment.Hyper Microsystems has been a leader in the electronics and computer parts industry since 1996.Strategically headquartered in the Chicago area, Hyper Microsystems maintains a smooth flow of operations through its main testing and distribution facilities.
