Hyperactive Gaming LLC is seeking an Administrative and Marketing Assistant with prior administrative experience to support our growing video gaming company. This is a hybrid role that provides support across Office Administration, Marketing, and Regulatory Compliance functions. Being highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative is key to success in this position.
In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leaders across multiple departments, including calendar management, scheduling, route coordination, and internal communications
- Assist in marketing, branding, and promotional initiatives, including campaigns, digital media coordination, content support, and basic design projects
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Proactively identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, organization, and cross-departmental coordination
- Prepare documentation for background checks and submit and track Illinois Gaming Board applications for Terminal Handlers, Account Executives, and other regulated roles
- Support on-site office operations, including phone coverage, new-hire onboarding coordination, office equipment support, and office supply inventory management
- Manage timekeeping and payroll data for employees, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
- Track licenses and work with clients, vendors, and the State of Illinois to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality, enforce internal controls, and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management
What you’ll need:
- 2–5 years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in operations, administration, marketing, or regulated environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfort learning new software, systems, and digital tools
- Strong command of English grammar with the ability to interpret data, reports, charts, and numerical information
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong follow-through with the ability to take direction, document action items, and work independently
- Reliable team player who can work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
- Self-starter mindset, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $50,000 – $60,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications
