Private Client Marketing & Placement Specialist (Part-Time)

The Opportunity:

The Private Client Marketing & Placement Specialist serves as a technical insurance expert responsible for designing, marketing, and placing complex personal insurance programs for affluent and high-net-worth clients. Working closely with producers, account managers, and carrier partners, this individual develops creative coverage solutions, negotiates with underwriters, and secures optimal terms for challenging and sophisticated risks.

This role operates behind the scenes but plays a critical part in delivering exceptional client outcomes through deep market knowledge, strategic carrier relationships, and technical expertise in personal insurance.

In This Opportunity You Will Execute On:

• Market and place new and renewal private client insurance accounts with premier carriers including Chubb, AIG, PURE, Cincinnati, Berkley One, and other specialty insurers.
• Analyze complex property, liability, and excess liability exposures to develop comprehensive insurance solutions.
• Negotiate coverage terms, pricing, and underwriting exceptions with carrier partners.
• Identify creative placement strategies for difficult-to-insure risks, including unique homes, secondary residences, coastal properties, wildfire exposures, collections, and specialty assets.
• Prepare and manage carrier submissions, applications, statements of values, and underwriting documentation.
• Collaborate with producers and service teams to develop customized insurance programs that align with client needs and risk profiles.
• Evaluate coverage differences and carrier appetites to recommend optimal solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriting teams and stay current on market conditions, carrier capabilities, and emerging risks.
• Support proposal development and presentation materials for prospective and existing clients.
• Ensure accurate documentation and management of account activity within Applied Epic.

In This Role You Will Need:

• 5 years of experience in personal insurance underwriting, private client marketing, or high-net-worth account management.
• Strong knowledge of private client carriers and their underwriting appetites.
• Experience marketing complex property and liability risks.
• Proficiency using Applied Epic or similar agency management systems.
• Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, CPRIA, or CPCU are preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
