What are the responsibilities and job description for the Showroom Consultant position at HydroLogic Distribution Center?
Job responsibilities
- Work with Homeowners, Designers, Architects, Builders and vendors in planning, product selection, product specs and quotations
- Use strong consultative sales skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills (both oral and written), attention to detail, strong follow-up skills and motivation to make the sale
- Process customer returns
- Maintain accurate and organized customer and project management files
- Work with local outside salespeople to assist in following up with any issues
- Develop long-term relationships with builders and contractors
- Read blueprints to ensure compatibility between product ordered and customer desire and needs
- Coordinate the ordering, receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner
- Use appropriate office technologies and computers to process and track orders and maintain excellent communication with all contacts
- Assist with special projects such as trade shows and display changes
Job qualifications
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Detail oriented and ability to work independently
- Must be willing to work Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
