Position Summary
Our client, a leading organisation in the energy and renewables sector, is seeking a Project Management Consultant - Level I to join their Central Maintenance - Special Projects team. This is an onsite role based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The successful candidate will support a Senior Project Manager across a portfolio of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage projects, with responsibility for scheduling, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and budget tracking. A technical background in mechanical or electrical systems is advantageous but not essential. Up to 25% travel to project sites will be required.
Responsibilities
- Participate in project design meetings and contribute improvement recommendations where appropriate
- Identify potential risks and technical challenges, and develop mitigation solutions
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and evolving project information
- Coordinate all team members across active projects to maintain workflow and progress
- Manage project documentation, ensuring all materials are current, accurately filed, and stored
- Prepare and review project correspondence including proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails
- Engage with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives
- Monitor project expenditure and implement cost-saving measures to support budget adherence
Education & Experience
- Prior experience in project coordination or project management, preferably within construction or renewables
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, stakeholder relationships, and cross-functional teams
- Experience with documentation management and project management tools
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites (up to 25%)
