Starting Rate of pay: $18/hour
$500 sign-on bonus
$2/hour for night shift differential
Eligible for monthly profit sharing. (With profit sharing. earnings can increase by -$1.50-$3.00/hour)
Shift Available and Hours:
7pm-1am, 4X4 schedule
6pm-6am, 4X4 schedule
6:30pm-6:30am, Monday - Thursday
7:30pm-5:30am, Monday - Thursday
What you will be doing
- Implement, sponsor, and support all continuous reliability improvement standards and practices.
- Responsible to communicate in the production team wheel.
- Responsible for unloading finished products may include specific packaging requests that will be completed according to detailed instructions.
- Assist Fabrication Equipment Operators by loading extrusions into processing equipment including saws, punch presses, and rolling machines.
- Willing to train.
- From time to time, responsible to assist neighboring production deparments and with duties associated in those areas.
- Will be required to work with small sections in short cut lengths, to material more than 50 feet.
What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience:
- Ability to work 8,10,12 hours rotating shift depending on shift availability, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks while standing for extended periods.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)
- Ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- Previous management experience in fast-paced, manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic computer application skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
