As the largest independent pump reengineering aftermarket company in the world, Hydro's has provided engineering expertise, pump repair, and support services to the industry since 1969.We offer competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity for professional growth.JOB SUMMARY:ThePump Mechanic is on the 1st Shift responsible for assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of rotating type equipment, mainly horizontal and vertical pumps. The Pump Mechanic will operate required tools for the disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment and utilize various M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc..) for the inspection of the equipment. You will also use an overhead crane in our shop.KEY TASKS:Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild large pumps of all typesInterpret blueprints and schematic drawings in order to determine work procedures and construct foundations for pump assembly and disassemblyOperate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric toolsAbility to utilize all M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc.…)Work within precise limits or standards of accuracyThis is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate.
