Title: Projects Engineer Pumps
Pay: $90,000 – $105,000

We have a great opportunity for a qualified Projects Engineer Pumps
to join our team at our location in Chicago, IL. in the great West Loop neighborhood. An excellent compensation and benefits package is available for qualified candidates.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
- Interface with manager and shop superintendent so that production maintained to meet monthly quota and gross profit levels.
- Ensure that production flow is maintained between the shop and outside contractors by visiting the contractor’s facility and accepting the final product.
- Interface with account managers to ensure that “work in process” progress in communicated.
- Maintain “work in process” log to enable management to project billing levels monthly and quarterly.
- Interface with the EPR group to ensure travelers are generated and that the Avante system is utilized.
- Ensure that operations keep good health and safety records. Assist the shop superintendent with the safety committee and the upkeep of records.
- Travel to competitors’ facilities to perform pre quote inspection. Develop detailed proposals with work scope enabling Hydro Aire Avante system to be used.
- Interface with EPR test engineers to become familiar with test stand and testing methods. In time, I become the test floor engineer supplying data to the EPR hydraulic engineers for sign off and verification test curves.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree with four to five years of experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interpersonal, collaboration and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and work well under pressure and meet required deadlines.
- Sound technical background in the engineering field.
