What you’ll tackle
- Job-shop teardown, inspection, repair, and assembly of large pumps, valves, and rotating equipment
- Hands-on maintenance and rebuilds of centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, pump seals, and their support systems
- Blueprint and assembly drawing interpretation to ensure accurate fit-up and rebuild quality
- Precision measurement using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Application of deep mechanical aptitude to diagnose issues and verify that pump components function together as designed
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on, job-shop repair experience with large rotating equipment
- Experience across a range of rotating assets: centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, and seal/support systems
- Millwright mechanic background, or formal training from an accredited technical college/trade school, or completion of an equivalent multi-year apprenticeship
- High mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
- Ability to use and interpret micrometers, calipers, gauges, and inspection tooling
- Solid understanding of the individual components that comprise a pump and how they interact

Salary : $25 - $32
