Starting Rate of pay: $27.75-$40.77/ hour
Shifts Available and Hours: Night shift, 6pm-6am
Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential
- Successful bidders will be accountable for health, safety and environmental issues related to this position.
- Install, maintain, and repair all types of electrical and electronic equipment with a constant focus on improving equipment reliability.
- Work with experienced craftsmen to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for advancement.
- Assist as required with performing/assisting other duties as required by customer demand.
- Diagnoses complex equipment failures, troubleshoots for root cause and develops solutions utilizing a scientific approach with at a minimum the following tools: prints, sketches, manuals, diagnostic equipment, etc.coupled with machinery knowledge and common sense in an efficient and timely manner.
- Safely troubleshoots, operates, and repairs as necessary complex equipment, including Process Logic Controller systems.
- Applies knowledge of electrical control, electronic systems, process controllers, industrial instrumentation, and combustion systems.
- Completes work in a timely manner, often without direct supervision. Ability to organize work for maximum efficiency. Ability to adjust work priorities based on plant needs and business requirements.
- Accurately document work in a CMMS system.
- A 2-year Electrical Technical Degree with 1-year practical experience and/or 3-5 years of practical experience in an industrial electrical (or related) setting is desired.
- Participation in the Craft Academic Training Center is required.
- Safety- Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.
- Language- Able to communicate orally and in writing effectively with Managers, supervisors, peers and subordinates.
