Role OverviewAs Regional Sales Director, Americas, you will own the entire revenue pipeline for AI server hardware and GPU rental marketplace demand across North, Central, and South America. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role that combines traditional hardware resale with recurring cloud/rental revenue streams. You will work closely with our global procurement, engineering, and marketplace teams to match explosive AI infrastructure demand with HydraHost’s inventory and rental capacity. Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve and exceed aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets for AI server hardware sales and GPU rental marketplace bookings in the Americas regionBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise AI teams, hyperscalers, cloud providers, research institutions, and AI startups needing GPUs and full AI serversDevelop C-level and technical relationships with AI/ML leaders, infrastructure architects, and procurement teamsDrive complex, multi-million-dollar hardware deals (new-in-box, open-box, and excess inventory) from lead to closeIdentify and convert rental demand into recurring monthly/annual commitments on HydraHost’s GPU marketplacePartner with the Procurement team to forecast demand, secure advantageous inventory positions, and influence sourcing strategyCollaborate with Marketing and Solutions Engineering on regional events, webinars, and thought-leadership contentProvide accurate forecasting, weekly pipeline updates, and market intelligence on AI hardware trends and pricingTravel up to 50% within the Americas for client meetings, conferences (GTC, SC, MLConf, etc.), and partner eventsQualifications & Experience8 years of enterprise sales experience selling servers, GPUs, storage, or networking hardwareProven track record of closing $20M annual quotas in data center infrastructure or AI hardwareExisting relationships with AI/ML teams at Fortune 1000, hyperscalers, or major cloud providers strongly preferredDirect experience selling to or working with electronic component distributors and brokers highly desirable (e.g., Rand Technology, Fusion Worldwide, Smith & Associates, Arrow Electronics, Avnet, WPG, etc.)Deep understanding of NVIDIA GPU roadmap (H100 → H200 → Blackwell), AMD Instinct, and liquid-cooled server trendsDemonstrated ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles involving technical validation, procurement, legal, and finance stakeholdersExperience with both capital hardware sales and recurring SaaS/cloud/rental revenue models is a major plusSelf-starter comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environmentBachelor’s degree required; technical or engineering background a plus Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary uncapped commission (top performers easily exceed $500K OTE)Equity in a rapidly growing AI infrastructure companyFull health, dental, vision coverage401(k) with company matchPTO company holidaysAnnual off-site with the global team
