Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Contract IT Support Specialist / Systems Administrator to provide ongoing support for our company’s day-to-day technology operations.
This role is ideal for a flexible IT professional who can provide support on an as-needed contract basis, rather than in a full-time or part-time capacity. Due to frequent employee onboarding and offboarding, the position will involve regular management of company email accounts, mobile devices, HubSpot users, software permissions, and employee hardware setup and recovery.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, highly organized, and comfortable supporting employees with varying levels of technical experience. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, provide user-friendly support, and help develop simple, efficient processes that improve overall team productivity and operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees across company systems, including computers, mobile devices, Microsoft Outlook, HubSpot, and other business software platforms
- Set up and configure new employee accounts, including company email, Outlook access, calendar synchronization, work phones, Apple IDs, and software permissions
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes by updating, transferring, or revoking system and software access as needed
- Configure, maintain, and support company-issued devices, including laptops, desktops, iPhones, and related hardware
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications on company devices
- Set up and support employee productivity and tracking software platforms
- Assist with HubSpot user administration, including account setup, permissions management, onboarding support, and basic troubleshooting
- Support call center software integrations and systems connected to HubSpot
- Troubleshoot and maintain Outlook Calendar integrations between employees, devices, HubSpot, and other connected tools
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, email, calendar, and mobile device issues
- Provide support for password resets, account recovery, phone transfers, and user access requests
- Maintain accurate records of company devices, software licenses, user accounts, phone numbers, and access permissions
- Develop and maintain clear onboarding and offboarding procedures, checklists, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve internal IT processes, organization, and operational efficiency
- Provide remote support and occasional onsite technical assistance as needed

Ideal Qualifications
- Proven experience providing IT support for small to mid-sized or growing businesses
- Experience managing employee onboarding and offboarding across multiple systems and platforms
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Outlook, Apple devices, iPhones, and Windows-based computers
- Experience configuring and supporting Outlook email and calendar synchronization across computers, mobile devices, and work accounts
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot
- Experience supporting phone systems, VoIP services, or call center software platforms
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical users
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and processes
- Comfortable providing support to employees with varying levels of technical proficiency
- Responsive and dependable when handling urgent technical issues and support requests
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive company information, employee accounts, passwords, and customer data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting HubSpot call center integrations such as Aircall, Kixie, Dialpad, RingCentral, CallRail, or similar platforms
- Experience implementing or managing employee productivity tracking and monitoring software
- Experience developing onboarding and offboarding SOPs, workflows, and internal documentation
- Experience supporting sales teams, telemarketing environments, or high-volume call operations
- Experience organizing and managing company devices, software accounts, user permissions, and employee access systems
Contract Structure
We are seeking a contract-based IT professional who can provide reliable support on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities may include scheduled system setup, employee onboarding and offboarding, urgent troubleshooting, ongoing technical support, and occasional process or system improvements.

- Primarily remote support
- Occasional onsite support as needed
- Flexible compensation structure, including hourly or monthly retainer options
- Ability to respond promptly to urgent technical issues
- Ongoing support for employee onboarding/offboarding, HubSpot, Outlook, phone systems, and general IT operations
