Position Overview
Our growing Finance Team at HYBE America is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Analyst with a strong foundation in financial reporting and a desire to grow within a global organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial disclosures while maintaining seamless communication between our US operations and our HQ in Korea.
This role offers strong exposure to global financial operations and visibility into executive-level reporting, with opportunities for continued growth within the Finance organization. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting timelines.
- HQ Reporting and Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for HQ (Korea), preparing and submitting monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages and ensuring compliance with HQ-specific disclosure requirements.
- Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of external audits by preparing work papers, explaining variances, and ensuring documentation is audit-ready.
- Internal Controls Coordination: Act as the central point of contact to facilitate the flow of internal control requirements between external auditors and internal business units, ensuring the timely collection and accuracy of process documentation and testing evidence.
- Tax Coordination Support: Partner with external tax advisors to facilitate tax reporting, compliance filings, and the preparation of schedules for corporate tax provisions
- Process improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting workflows, reduce close cycle timelines, and increase automation through system optimization.
- Month-End Close: Participate in monthly and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and performing variance analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to analyze financial results and explain key drivers of variances.
- Data & Systems Utilization: Leverage SAP, Tableau, and advanced Excel to extract, analyze, and reconcile large datasets; support reporting and visualization through tools such as Tableau.
- Technical Accounting: Research accounting issues and prepare technical accounting memos in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Support special projects, system implementations, and strategic initiatives, including ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of corporate accounting or financial reporting experience
- Experience in the music, entertainment, or related industries strongly preferred
- Experience with complex financial consolidations and high-volume intercompany eliminations
- Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and deferred tax accounting principles
- Proven ability to coordinate audit requirements and internal control compliance across various business units

It’s a bonus if you have
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Public accounting experience
- Active CPA license or progress toward certification

Salary Range
The salary range for this job is $80,000 to $90,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include benefits and any other compensatory components of the role.
