How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future
- Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
- Schedule dining reservations, arrange parties, and coordinate special services for diners.
- Adjust and resolve guest complaints as directed by a supervisor.
- Assign and coordinate tasks for dining room staff to ensure prompt, courteous, and fair service.
- Inspect serving stations for neatness and cleanliness; requisition linens and supplies as needed.
- Ensure menus are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Notify servers of new tables and communicate with line cooks on large party arrivals.
- Train and mentor dining room employees as needed, including scheduling work hours and maintaining time records.
- Assist in planning menus, preparing beverages, and expediting food orders when necessary.
- Handle end-of-shift responsibilities such as totaling receipts, clearing the register, and collecting payments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first approach.
- Ability to multitask and manage seating flow during peak times.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
- Team-oriented with the ability to support and coordinate dining room staff.
- Professional demeanor and problem-solving skills to handle guest concerns.
- Previous hospitality or guest service experience preferred.
- Experience in dining room operations or customer service roles is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
