How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future
- Oversee and coordinate stewarding staff in daily cleaning and dishwashing responsibilities.
- Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and stewarding equipment.
- Support the culinary team by ensuring timely and efficient dish and utensil turnaround.
- Implement and maintain systems for waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and scheduling stewarding staff to build a high-performing team.
- Ensure stewarding equipment is well-maintained and operational, coordinating repairs when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Keen attention to detail in sanitation, organization, and safety procedures.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Previous experience as a Stewarding Supervisor, Lead Steward, or equivalent role in hospitality or food service.
- Demonstrated ability to manage dishwashing and stewarding teams effectively.
- Hands-on experience with commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning procedures.
- Proven track record of maintaining sanitation standards and compliance with health regulations.
- Experience with inventory management and basic administrative duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training or certification in sanitation, food safety, or hospitality operations preferred.
