Summary
The Assistant Director of Engineering is responsible for overseeing the hotel facilities. This includes the inside as well as the outside of the building. This person must be knowledgeable in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, Kitchen, Laundry, Life Safety, Painting, and Swimming Pools. This also includes scheduling, payroll, training and development, and working with all departments in the resort.
Salary Range - $91,200 - $136,800
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Assist in overseeing engineering operations, including maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and vendor management for engineering related projects.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking ability to manage projects using multi-disciplinary teams in the resort.
