We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), mechanical, and building interior systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct HVAC system repairs, including filter replacements, refrigerant checks, and system calibrations to maintain optimal climate control.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
- Maintain facilities equipment by performing repairs or coordinating specialized services; manage maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance, ensuring safety standards and quality control are met.
- Support customer service efforts by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants and providing clear communication throughout the process.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing system maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in electrical work including electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting using schematics and ohmmeters.
- Experience with HVAC system repair and building interior maintenance.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively; familiarity with carpentry and painting techniques.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices within manufacturing or residential environments.
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures; working knowledge of CMMS software.
- Supervising experience is preferred to coordinate team activities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical schematics and work independently or as part of a team.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on safety standards, quality assurance, and customer service excellence.
