Overview

The In-Room Server is responsible for delivering exceptional in‑room dining experiences by providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to hotel guests. This role requires a blend of hospitality, efficiency, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with professionalism, accuracy, and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
• Set up in ‑ room dining presentations according to hotel standards, ensuring all items are properly arranged and complete.
• Communicate menu items, specials, and service details clearly and confidently to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service areas, trays, carts, and equipment.
• Retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms and hallways in a timely manner.
• Process guest orders through the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any guest concerns.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and food ‑ handling standards.
• Support additional food and beverage operations as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and warmly with guests and team members.
• Strong multi-tasking ability, including managing multiple orders, timelines, and guest requests simultaneously.
• Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight (typically trays, carts, and food items) and walk or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Previous hospitality or food‑and‑beverage experience preferred but not required.
