As a Security Officer at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests, colleagues and visitors. Your presence will support the overall guest experience through proactive safety measures, conflict resolution, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor hotel premises via patrols and surveillance systems to ensure safety and security
- Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
- Assist with crowd control, lost and found, and access control
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and daily activities
- Provide excellent service and support to guests and colleagues in a courteous and helpful manner
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Assist with fire drills, evacuation procedures and first aid as needed
- Collaborative and team-driven environment with diverse industry experience and multi-cultural backgrounds

- Proficient in basic computer skills

- Prior experience in security preferred
- Previous hospitality experience is a plus
