The Housekeeping Public Areas Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of assigned public areas in accordance with Hyatt standards. This role plays a key part in creating a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for guests throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and service public areas including lobby, restrooms, and other common areas as assigned in accordance with Hyatt standards
• Sweep and mop floors throughout assigned areas
• Vacuum carpets and maintain cleanliness of carpeted spaces
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other public area surfaces
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide courteous assistance as needed
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and special cleaning needs following established procedures
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and properly handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with hotel procedures
• Return, organize, and restock cleaning carts and supplies at the end of each shift
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to service excellence
• Promote Hyatt's Culture of Care through exceptional guest service and quality standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires
