About the Role – Market Food & Beverage Attendant (Barista/Part Time)

The Food & Beverage Attendant contributes to the hotel's commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork and must be the kind of person who appreciates high standards of excellence. The F&B Attendant will provide service in the Market located in the lobby of the hotel. The F&B Attendant will prepare beverages and food items in accordance with menu standards and provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests. Previous barista experience strongly preferred. Due to the nature of this role, a flexible schedule (mornings and evenings) and weekend availability is required.

Wage Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $21.50/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous barista experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and management
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a moderate weight (about 25lbs) regularly.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (morning and evening availability) including weekends and holidays.
