Role
The Lead Assistant Golf Professional / Pro Shop Supervisor plays a key role in the daily operations of our golf facility. This individual is responsible for overseeing the Golf Shop, managing outside services, supporting group events and tournaments, and ensuring a world-class guest experience. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, passionate about the game of golf, and committed to maintaining high operational standards.

The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, passionate about the game of golf, and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and execute group golf events, including tournaments and special outings
- Assist Catering and Sales teams in staffing and managing golf-related functions
- Participate in pre-conference planning meetings to ensure seamless execution of events
- Support the Assistant Director of Golf with training Golf Shop and Customer Service staff
- Ensure the Golf Shop and surrounding areas are neat, organized, and professionally maintained
- Manage the tee sheet and communicate daily play rules to the Golf Shop staff
- Provide golf instruction to individuals and groups across all skill levels
- Notify the Assistant Director of Golf about any notable changes in course conditions
- Oversee Golf Shop inventory, process sales transactions, and manage stock levels
- Create a welcoming, professional, and service-focused environment for members and guests

Qualifications
- Strong teaching ability for both group and individual golf lessons
- Ability to present and uphold the professional image of a Golf Professional
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing personality with a genuine passion for golf and guest engagement
- Previous experience in retail operations, preferably within a golf setting
- Proficiency in computer systems and basic accounting
- Dedication to the game of golf and a desire to attain (or be actively pursuing) PGA Class A certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
