Responsibilities
- Answer and process in-room dining orders via phone, ensuring accuracy and clarity in order details.
- Provide menu recommendations and accommodate guest dietary requests when possible.
- Communicate and coordinate with in-room dining servers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Process payment transactions, including room charges, credit cards, and cash payments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and special requests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure all in-room dining procedures align with Hyatt's service standards.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of amenities and special requests for guest rooms.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the in-room dining office area.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and order-taking technology is a plus.
