We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Event Setup Supervisor to lead our Houseperson team in preparing event spaces for meetings, banquets, weddings, and special events. This role oversees all event setups from start to finish, ensuring each room is arranged accurately, safely, and on time according to Event Orders (EOs) and property standards.
Key Responsibilities
Event Setup & Execution
- Oversee the complete setup and breakdown of all event spaces, including tables, chairs, staging, linens, décor, and equipment.
- Ensure all setups match BEO specifications and meet brand and safety standards
- Conduct walkthroughs before and after events to ensure accuracy, cleanliness, and readiness
- Coordinate with Banquet Managers, Culinary, and AV teams to support smooth event execution.
- Supervise, train, and support the Houseperson team during daily operations and event setups.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure efficient workflow
- Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to maintain high performance and teamwork.
- Lead shift huddles to communicate event details, priorities, and safety reminders.
- Maintain inventory of event furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Report maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly
- Ensure storage areas are organized, safe, and compliant with property standards.
- Assist with scheduling and labor management as needed.

- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast‑paced, physically active environment.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting BEOs and setup diagrams.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed.
- Good driving record
