Key Responsibilities
- Event Coordination — Act as the main point of contact for assigned group and social events, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service.
- Event Detailing — Coordinate agendas, room setups, menus, audiovisual needs, billing instructions, and special requests.
- Cross‑Department Collaboration — Partner closely with Sales, Event Services, Culinary, AV, and Operations teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Pre‑Event Leadership — Lead pre‑event meetings and clearly communicate event requirements to internal teams.
- Client Relationship Management — Host site inspections, maintain strong planner relationships, and provide timely follow‑up and post‑event communication.
- Record Keeping — Maintain accurate event files, room block management, pickup reports, and billing documentation.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- 1–3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred
- Proficiency in general computer knowledge and event‑planning systems
- Extremely detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Prefer two years of hotel experience or completion of an Event Management trainee program
