Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate specialty menu items according to Corn Maiden recipes and presentation standards.
- Execute techniques appropriate for fine dining, including grilling, roasting, sautéing, and specialty methods unique to Southwestern cuisine.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety and sanitation
- Assist with prep duties, stock rotation, and kitchen organization to support daily operations.
- Uphold the cultural values and storytelling behind the menu and Corn Maiden dining experience.
- Support a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of kitchen techniques, high-volume prep, and food safety standards.
- Passion for Southwestern, Indigenous, and locally inspired cuisine.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes, plating standards, and chef direction.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable in working in an open kitchen
