As an Adventure Specialist, you will be the expert on all things Lake Tahoe—providing local insight, facilitating recreational activities, and connecting guests to the best outdoor experiences the region has to offer.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests seeking information on local attractions, outdoor activities, seasonal events, and in-house experiences
- Promote and book on-site and off-site excursions such as skiing, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, boating, and guided tours
- Facilitate seasonal resort activities, including daily programming and special events
- Provide warm and enthusiastic service while answering questions and assisting with itinerary planning
- Maintain safety standards and guest satisfaction during activities and outings
- Collaborate with local vendors and partners to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Maintain accurate records of guest participation and waivers as needed
- Ensure that the Adventure Center and equipment are clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Strong knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area and enthusiasm for outdoor adventure and recreation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, move, and transport recreational equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs)
- Previous experience in guest services, recreation, or hospitality preferred
