Adventure Specialist- Full-time| Year-round

Summary

As an Adventure Specialist, you will be the expert on all things Lake Tahoe—providing local insight, facilitating recreational activities, and connecting guests to the best outdoor experiences the region has to offer.

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests seeking information on local attractions, outdoor activities, seasonal events, and in-house experiences
• Promote and book on-site and off-site excursions such as skiing, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, boating, and guided tours
• Facilitate seasonal resort activities, including daily programming and special events
• Provide warm and enthusiastic service while answering questions and assisting with itinerary planning
• Maintain safety standards and guest satisfaction during activities and outings
• Collaborate with local vendors and partners to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Maintain accurate records of guest participation and waivers as needed
• Ensure that the Adventure Center and equipment are clean, organized, and well-stocked
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area and enthusiasm for outdoor adventure and recreation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift, move, and transport recreational equipment as needed (up to 50 lbs)
• Previous experience in guest services, recreation, or hospitality preferred
