Position Objectives |
The primary responsibility of the Outlets (F&B) Supervisor is to oversee the functions of the restaurant, bar, and perks market/coffee shop to ensure staff are properly taking care of guests and that optimum guest satisfaction is being achieved. The Outlets Supervisor will continuously strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
Primary Duties Include:
Provides training and reinforces training for Bartenders, Servers, Host, and Perks Attendants. Ensures staff competencies are met, provides retraining and feedback where necessary |
Constantly monitors service levels in Outlets and adjust staffing as needed |
Ensures all ticket times meet property established standards |
Ensure all equipment is in working order and reports any concerns through the appropriate channel |
Assists Outlets Manager in conducting departmental meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals and desired results |
Ensures cleanliness expectations are met throughout all areas of Outlets |
Understands profit objectives and desired standards of quality of food, service, cleanliness and merchandising promotions and keeps the Outlets team focused on those items to drive guest satisfaction and other financial results |
Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance of all Outlets Associates |
Assists the Outlets Manager in the facilitation of payroll, reports, forecasts, point of sale procedures, inventory and budget |
Reviews guest feedback and other data to identify areas of improvement |
Responds to and professionally address guest problems or concerns |
Ensures that all Outlet areas have an atmosphere that is conducive to the overall guest experience |
Understands the various outlets responsibilities well enough to perform duties in colleague’s absence |
Qualifications |
- Must be twenty-one (21) or older
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays
- Must have prior experience in the guest services, front desk, Food and Beverage or related profession will be considered
- Demonstrated experience in exercising confidentiality and integrity
Education & Skills |
- Preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business or other related field
- Required; extensive experience using Microsoft Office Applications, Outlook, Internet, and other Microsoft Office products
- Required; mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Required; effective oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all employee levels and guests within the hotel
- Required; Ability to multi task, prioritize and handle conflicting demands
- Required; Flexible with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing priorities and situations
- Required; Sold under pressure, professional and able to maintain composure in handing complaints and other feedback
- Required; Ability to meet deadlines without compromise
Salary : $16 - $19
