The food Storeroom Supervisor oversees the receiving, storage & distribution of all food & beverage products for the hotel. This role ensures that all storeroom operations run efficiently, securely, and in compliance with Hyatt standards, health regulations & budget guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the food storeroom, including receiving, rotating & issuing food & beverage items
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality & in compliance with Hyatt standards
- Maintain proper stock levels & conduct inventory counts to minimize waste, prevent shortages & assist with maintaining a live inventory
- Implement & enforce the FIFO - first in, first out rotation system to ensure freshness & reduce spoilage
- Monitor storeroom cleanliness, organization & compliance with safety & sanitation guidelines
- Prepare & submit inventory reports, variance information & cost control documentation
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Culinary, and F&B teams to ensure timely distribution of products to all outlets
- Train & supervisor storeroom staff, fostering teamwork & accountability

Qualifications
- Previous experience in storeroom, purchasing, or inventory management required
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety & sanitation standards preferable
- Proficiency with inventory software & Excel
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated & freezer environments for short amounts of time
