Storeroom – Food & Dry Goods
Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Prepare production inventory orders to stock station attendants
• Performs receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors
• Inspects incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness
• Stocks freezer, cold room and dry goods
• Maintains inventory warehouse locations in a clean, organized manner
• Pulls orders for decant
• Rotates inventory to ensure FIFO
• Conducts physical inventory counts and count sheets
• Performs all other duties as requested by Supervisor and Managers
• Record temperatures of carts to ensure HACCP compliance
• Work in a cold environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, any day of the week
Other Responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Competent to work independently within area of expertise
• Ability to solve inventory related problems
• Deal with a variety of issues relating to storeroom inventory levels and production orders
• Must be able to function within a team environment.
• Performs tasks under general supervision.
• Cross-Train and work where assigned by Supervisor and Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Manager.
Qualifications:
• Ability to prepare orders for production based on daily needs
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Ability to work in a cold environment
• Food Service experience required
• Desired experience is 1-5 years warehouse or storeroom experience
• Knowledge of Food Industry quality and sanitation standards and requirements
• High school level written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of integrity and openness in reporting responsibilities
• Understanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically in Excel
