You will help coordinate outdoor activities, provide local insight and recommendations, and ensure guests enjoy safe and memorable experiences during their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with booking and coordinating seasonal activities including hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, skiing, snowshoeing, and more.
- Share knowledge of Lake Tahoe’s recreation areas, weather conditions, and safety precautions.
- Set up, maintain, and clean adventure equipment and supplies.
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed and waivers are properly collected and filed.
- Assist with resort events and seasonal programming such as nature walks, scavenger hunts, or guided outings.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment use, guest participation, and activity waivers.
- Uphold Hyatt standards for safety, service, and guest engagement.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Passion for the outdoors and enthusiasm for sharing local recreation opportunities.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Previous experience in recreation, guest services, or outdoor leadership preferred.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
