Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, landscaping, and gardening to keep outdoor areas vibrant and well-kept
- Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for repairs or improvements
- Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for all users
- Support tree care activities including pruning and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining various systems and equipment
- Hands-on experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely; familiarity with excavators is a plus
- Knowledge of construction techniques related to hardscape installation or repair
- Ability to perform tree care tasks such as trimming or removal with proper safety procedures
- Experience with irrigation systems management and snow plowing operations
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
