Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter and interpret schematics for effective repairs.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity and functionality of equipment.
- Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Assist in residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic standards of the facility.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure minimal downtime during repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a focus on electrical systems and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of schematics and ability to read technical drawings.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance is essential.
- Welding skills are a plus for structural repairs and modifications.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with staff and management.
- Supervisory experience is desired for leading maintenance teams effectively.
