The Central Plant Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing, directing, coordinating, and controlling the hotel’s central plant operations. Tasks will include but not limited to the following: § Using the hotel’s building automation system (Desigo) for adjustments with hotel temperatures and mechanical equipment. § Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on systems and equipment. § Utilization of the hotel’s service request system (HotSOS), ensure request are completed in a timely manner. § Follow up on the status of work performed by outside vendors. § Monitor and provide reports/updates on a daily basis regarding team’s work status. § Perform daily inspections of central plant equipment & mechanical spaces. Complete progress and informational logs. § Maintain appropriate inventory of parts and maintenance materials. § Provide excellent communication to all stakeholders including colleagues; customers, leaders. Strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical} and HVAC systems. EPA Universal Certification Required. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also required. Ability and willing to work flexible schedule including various shifts; holidays, weekends. Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to send texts and emails using a smart phone application. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
