Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous food & beverage or hospitality service experience preferred.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and service presentation standards.
- Ability to carry trays, push service carts, and lift up to 30–40 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely and courteous manner.
- Review orders for accuracy, proper presentation, and completeness before delivery.
- Set up in-room dining tables or trays according to service standards.
- Explain menu items, service procedures, and remove covers for guests.
- Retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms and hallways promptly.
- Handle guest payments when applicable and ensure accurate check processing.
- Communicate guest concerns or feedback to management immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service areas, carts, and equipment.
- Restock condiments, supplies, and amenities as needed.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
