Inventory Lead
General Job Description
The Inventory Lead – is responsible for administering daily activities related to inventory accuracy, including cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, monitoring inactive inventory, ensuring proper product identification, managing kitting and un-kitting processes, and reporting inventory levels to support operational efficiency within the distribution center.
Essential Responsibilities
• Accurately cycle count all products.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain inventory accuracy within the appropriate systems and databases.
• Ensure proper product identification standards are upheld.
• Monitor and report inventory status, variances, and trends.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
• Adhere to compliance standards and report violations when identified.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma plus specialized or advanced coursework.
- Bilingual preferred. If not bilingual, candidates must be able to speak and understand English.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or distribution operations.
- Forklift operation preferred.
- Skills & Knowledge: Intermediate Microsoft Office (excel), strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of basic inventory control practices.
