HX5 is currently seeking a Cost Analyst and Estimator to support the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Program Office Estimates (POEs) from an estimating procedure which specifies the expected dollar cost to perform a stipulated task or to acquire an item.
- Develop, maintain, and provide on-going sustainment of a directorate cost data repository.
- Develop life cycle cost estimates to include Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD), production, and sustainment phases of programs.
- Assist in the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs and other financial documents.The POM shall identify total program financial requirements and include rationale for planned changes within the Future Years Defense Plan (FYDP).
Must have a combination of the following education and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with twenty-one (21) semester hours in quantitative analysis courses, plus three (3) semester hours of calculus.
- Five (5) years of DoD experience.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
