HWS Law Group is a regional litigation firm with offices located in both Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. We have spent the last 25 years refining the art of litigation and dispute resolution. We are seeking a qualified Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and litigation experience. Appellate and/or trial experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate has the experience that demonstrates (a) excellent research, writing, and analytical skills; (b) attention to detail; (c) confidence in taking depositions and/or in presenting oral argument in the courtroom; and, importantly, (d) a strong desire to accelerate the learning process by becoming actively involved in the handling of complex cases.
This position is based in our Seattle or Portland office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years Litigation experience (discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, etc.)
- Civil Litigation
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Positive attitude, ability to work as a team player and a desire to work cooperatively with partners, legal assistants, and paralegals.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to WA/OR State Bar
Salary Range
- $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
