Civil Litigation Associate

An established, reputable, medium-sized firm (with offices in WA and OR) is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate, specifically one that has at least 3 years of experience with construction, contract, personal injury, premises liability, and/or other complex litigation.

Appellate and/or trial experience is a plus. Ideal candidate has the experience that demonstrates (a) excellent research, writing, and analytical skills; (b) attention to detail; (c) confidence in taking depositions and/or in presenting oral argument in the courtroom; and, importantly, (d) a strong desire to accelerate the learning process by becoming actively involved in the handling of complex cases. They will be motivated to accelerate their career growth by learning from partners who have an abundance of cases and a strong commitment to mentorship – and by taking active, leadership roles in handling cases and the development/maintenance of client relationships. The partner track is real, and the work environment is genuinely collaborative. This position can be either hybrid (3 days a week in Seattle office) .

• J.D. & WSBA License (Required)

Skills or Experience

• Litigation experience preferred.
• Insurance defense, construction defect, premises liability or personal injury background preferred.
• Experience with case management software, Microsoft Office, Westlaw, Adobe and other legal software.
• Emotional intelligence to work with a diverse team.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
