What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP - Credit Risk Review position at HW3?
Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a FBO, with offices in the New York City region, that is looking to hire a VP to their Credit Risk Review Group.
This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site work, in New York City for two days per-week. If you are not able to work on site, please do not apply.
As a VP – Credit Risk Review, you will:
- Work as part of a small team of credit risk reviewers, assuming responsibility for 3-4 portfolios within the credit risk review space
- Lead target reviews, undertake Continuous Portfolio Monitory (CPM), and compile analysis
- Be responsible for the timely completion of risk reviews and assessments, on the FBO’s borrower relationships, credit risk ratings and credit risk management processes
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the FBO’s risk appetite and culture, and the impact on day to day activities and decisions
- Act as a representative for Internal Audit Department, and be comfortable working with and challenging stakeholders
As a VP – Credit Review, you will require:
- 7 years’ Internal Audit, Risk or relevant Financial Services experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree or relevant advanced degree
- CPA, CIA or CFA preferable
- Experience undertaking financial audits within a banking organization
- Strong oral and written communication skills
